Jon Loomer offers some great insight on how to Combine Email and Facebook Ad Campaigns for Greater Success (with an example). This article shows you how to use both email and Facebook ads to create a consistent message that enables a higher conversion rate for your audience than either will individually. He has a wonderful step-by-step example that leads you through the process.

New changes are in the works for LinkedIn. In Navigate the Changes to LinkedIn Privacy & Settings, TopDogSocialMedia.com breaks down each section for ease of understanding. Three settings that could be of note: you can see how many active sessions (places you’ve logged in and out of) you have, an Auto-play videos section where you say yes or no to newsfeed videos, and under the Edit your public profile section, you can change how your profile appears to search engines and the general public. The last one is especially interesting since it allows you to create a vanity URL that can help you with brand continuity.

Have you heard of Talkshow? Mashable.com gives us a great overview in Meet Talkshow, the latest viral app the Internet is freaking out about. It’s a hot new iOS-only messaging app that lets people host “Talkshows” about various topics. When a new one is live, you invite your followers to watch, send messages, post their reactions and GIFs and perhaps even join in as a co-host. Think of it as a texting-style Periscope. Finding friends and followers are easy since it integrates with Twitter, Facebook, and your email to grab your current contacts. Co-hosting a Talkshow is as easy as requesting access (or having an invitation sent to you) and, best of all, you can embed Talkshows on your site after they’ve happened. There’s also an option to share a link. Its recent popularity sparked a host of bugs that has kept the Talkshow team busy, but that seems to only heighten the demand.
